Removing the Old Roof Down to the Decking
We remove all old roofing materials to ensure the foundation of your roof is 100% solid. We not only look for rotten and lose sheets of sheathing, but re-nail the entire roof deck to make sure that you have a fortified structure to install the new roofing materials on.
Installing Seam Tape
After we have re-nailed the entire roof deck, we install a modified bitumen tape to ensure that there are no possible leak points when those 1 and 10 year storms roll through.
Synthetic Underlayment and Ice & Water Barrier
We ensure that the roof is 100% sealed before we even lay the first shingle. We do this by putting our Sealoron XT ice & water barrier on all the critical leak points on your roof. Your valleys, penetrations, and eaves. Once the ice & water barrier is laid, we go back with our Velora One synthetic underlayment to cover the rest of the roof deck. Now that's a tough roof!
Installing IKO Dynasty Froststone Grey
Last but not least, we install our shingles. We start with true purpose starter that ensure the edges of the roof are sealed down. Then we begin to place 6 ring shank nails into the Armour Zone of IKO's Dynasty Shingle giving it extreme holding power!
